A RARE 12mm PINFIRE REVOLVER SIGNED ELOLA, EIBAR, serial no. 7, with sliding bayonet,
circa 1870, with in the white round 4 3/4in. barrel with octagonal profile throat, the right side at breech marked 'ELOLA, EIBAR, the underside of barrel with brass rectangular housing concealing a sliding locking bayonet, open scroll engraved stepped iron frame and hinged loading gate, engraved plain cylinder with external ratchet locking and a scroll engraved band (strong traces of blued finish), chequered walnut angled 'dog-leg' grip and lanyard ring at heel, double action with folding trigger and plunge ejector
