A 7mm PINFIRE DUMONTHIER PATENT KNIFE REVOLVER, no visible serial number,
circa 1865, with 6in. blade etched with open scroll-work and signed 'DUMONTHIER' to the left side (possibly a marriage), the first 3in. of the back of blade bored as a barrel, florally engraved open iron frame, external ratchet locking florally engraved plain cylinder, relief moulded gutta-percha grips and folding double action trigger mechanism (at fault), complete with leather scabbard and belt-loop
