circa 1870, with reblued 36in. barrel, adjustable tunnel fore-sight, ladder rear-sight, squared patent breech, the top-tang fitted with a folding vernier sight, plain bar-action lock signed 'BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS CO LTD', restocked in walnut to the original style, chequered pistol-grip and original iron furniture, the whole refinished and including the original walnut half-stock (cracked and expertly repaired at wrist)
