circa 1875, with round blued 3 1/2in. barrel, the raised top-rib signed 'SMITH & WESSON, SPRINGFIELD, MASS' together with '1855', '1859' and '1865' patent dates, top hinged frame, fluted cylinder, spur trigger, smooth flared rosewood grips the whole retaining the majority of its original blued finish
