circa 1905, serial number 11099 relating to the 28 1/8in. nitro shallow rifled barrels, straight rifling with a twist towards the muzzles, file cut sight rib with two folding leaf sights marked for 50 and 100 yards, sunken rib engraved '"SHOT & BALL GUN"', the tubes engraved 'WEBLEY & SCOTT ARMS CO. LTD. 78, SHAFTESBURY AVENUE. LONDON & BIRMINGHAM', '"3 DRAMS OF C & H. No.6 POWDER"', '"ALLOY OF BULLET 1 PART OF TIN TO 13 PARTS OF LEAD."', 2 1/2in. chambers; serial number 2173 relating to a pair of 12-bore shot barrels; treble-grip action with side-clips, carved percussion fences, rebounding sidelocks, border and acanthus scroll engraving, the lockplates signed 'WEBLEY & SCOTT ARMS CO. LTD.', the triggerguard tang engraved '2173 / 11900', retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening, 13 3/4in. semi-pistolgrip stock with sling swivels, weight 7lb. 10oz., with a canvas slip with provision for extra barrels
