III' BOLT-MAGAZINE SERVICE RIFLE, serial no. 3943Z, dated 1912, 25 1/4in. nitro reproved barrel, block-mounted blade fore-sight with side protectors, elevating rear-sight graduated to 2000 yards, and with micrometer windage adjustment, blued receiver, magazine cut-off, oval cocking-piece, side safety, the right hand side marked 'ENFIELD. 1912. SHT.L.E. III.', detachable box magazine, walnut butt-stock of usual form with brass identity disc marked '9. LA. 1006.', brass buttplate with central trapdoor complete with combined oiler / cleaning kit, walnut full-length fore-end with top-cover and fitted with dial volley sights, sling swivels, 12 3/4in. pull, leather sling, weight 9lb. 1oz.
