circa 1880, with octagonal blued 1 1/2in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, solid frame with shallow rear-sight to the top-strap (traces of colour), long blued cylinder with double flutes, side loading gate, sliding safe to right hand side, folding trigger and finely chequered hard rubber grips; together with a period soft leather full-flap pocket holster
