W1.' and gold-inlaid with a star at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, Boss 1905 improved patent single trigger, rolled-edge triggerguard, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the triggerplate with patent details, retaining traces of colour-hardening and much renewed finish, 14 1/8in. figured replacement stock, weight 6lb. 12oz., in a lightweight leather case
