for between 1845-49, with browned laminated 30in. barrels, the raised shallow concave sighting rib unsigned, bead fore-sight, scroll engraved breech-blocks with engraved and vented platinum plugs, engraved top-tang with a scene of gamebirds, border and scroll engraved bar-action locks also featuring scenes of gamebirds and with fully scroll engraved hammers, refinished walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist and with rectangular white metal escutcheon behind the top-tang, iron furniture engraved with gamebirds to the lower tang and a hunting dog to the trigger guard bow, scroll engraved ramrod throat, plain thimbles and brass tipped ebony ramrod
