A PAIR OF EARLY 19th CENTURY SOCKET BAYONETS, with triangular blades fullered on the reverse sides, being 1) for the Brown Bess musket, 17 in. blade with inspection marks to the forte and signed 'Osborn', socket marked 'C / 41', socket drilled with a display hole; 2) for the Pattern 1839 musket, 16 in. blade with heavily rubbed inspection marks and 'G.S' to the forte, Hanoverian catch, blade stained with some blinded pitting towards the tip
