AN UNSIGNED GERMAN 16-BORE / 8X57JR BOXLOCK NON-EJECTOR DRILLING, serial no. 1650, circa 1910, 24 7/8in. nitro reproved barrels (London proof 2001), raised tapered wave cut rib, automatic folding leaf sight (activated by shot/ball selector switch), bead fore-sight, the breech end with telescopic sight rail mounting, 2 1/2in. shot chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, bolstered treble-grip scroll back action with side-clips, pin cocking-indicators, tang-mounted shot / ball selector switch, manual side safety, set front trigger, Germanic bead and scroll engraving, 14in. figured pistolgrip stock with sculpted birdshead grip and including 1 1/8in. leather covered recoil pad, weight 7lb. 1oz.
