A VICTORIAN POLICE CONSTABULARY SHORT SWORD, circa 1860, with 22 in. slightly curved steel blade, double-edged for the lower 8 in. and fullered on each side, brass cross and knuckle-guard, the cross-guard stamped 'PARKER FIELD & SONS LONDON', copper wire-bound fishskin grip, together with its black leather scabbard with brass fittings, blade cleaned with no apparent etching, scabbard catch broken and missing, scabbard leather worn and grazed,
