TRADE-PATTERN BOLT-MAGAZINE SERVICE CARBINE, serial no. 14103 / WR271080 / 702, circa 1915, 21in. nitro reproved barrel (in 2008), bead fore-sight, tangent rear sight, the breech-end with South African broad arrow within U stamp, the knoxform stamped 'BSA', magazine cut-off, Lee-Metford style bolt, manual flag safety, butt stock collar marked '702', three-quarter stock, sling swivels, 13 1/4in. pull including bras buttplate with central trapdoor, the whole refinished, weight 7lb. 7oz.
