for February 1973, with blued 18 1/2in. barrel, ramp and alloy tunnel fore-sight signed 'PARKER-HALE', no provision for rear-sight on barrel, squared loading tap handle at breech, plain blued air-chamber marked 'SUPERTARGET', trigger-housing stamped with make and model and factory fitted with a 'PARKER-HALE' side-mounted aperture sight model 'PH17B' (rubber diopter cup missing), walnut half-stock with inset white plastic medallion embossed with the Webley trademark, screw-off sight element holder for spare elements to heel of pistol-grip (elements not supplied), blued push-button under-lever, the whole retaining virtually all its original finish bar some marks to wood
Provenance: Christopher Thrale's publication 'Webley Air Rifles 1925-2005' lists this Supertarget as leaving the factory on Valentine's Day 1972 and almost certainly assembled by an employee named 'Dave'
