circa 1790, expertly reconverted back to flint, with slightly swamped 8 3/4in. laminated octagonal barrel signed 'WOGDON, LONDON' on the top-flat (refreshed), applied diminutive blade fore-sight, engraved and twin inlaid gold bands at breech, shallow standing notch rear-sight to front of the engraved top-tang, plain lock with moulded edge and vertical engraved border separating the stepped tail, bolted safe behind the swan-necked cock, rainproof pan with 'WOGDON' signature below (refreshed), walnut full-stock with slab-sided bag-shaped grip (expertly repaired at wrist), guarded single-set trigger, iron furniture and horn-tipped ebony ramrod (frozen)
