circa 1806, with round iron 42in. barrel (lightly corroded externally), traces of a number to top of barrel, moulded band and hooked breech, stud fore-sight and shallow sighting groove to the pointed top-tang, borderline engraved lock signed in script below the pan 'KETLAND & CO', swan-necked cock, walnut full-stock (cracked lengthways below lock), hand-rail butt, brass furniture, four ramrod pipes including throat, iron ramrod and swivel (forward swivel absent)
