AN UNUSUAL 12-BORE BOXLOCK EJECTOR TWIN-FIRING WILDFOWLING GUN, serial no. 28841,
dated 1930, 31 3/4in. 'Canardouze' nitro barrels with matt broad-spaced rib, tubes engraved 'ER. WILMART Ft A LIEGE. FAIT POUR F. BIRON A SÈTE', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, action with short side bolsters, manual side safety with gold-inlaid 'SUR' and 'FEU' detail, top tang with manual selector switch with gold-inlaid 'DOUBLE' detail, which when engaged locks the triggers to allow both barrels to be fired simultaneously on pulling either trigger, articulated front trigger, border engraving, retaining much original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4in. stock including 1/2in. rubber recoil pad, weight 9lb.
