fitted for 29in. barrels, red baize lining with James Purdey 1938-1955 trade label and hand written charges label for gun numbers 21276 and 21457, with a pair of nickel plated snapcaps and a nickel plated oil bottle with 'J. WOODWARD & SONS. LONDON' engraved on the screwcap, brass lock (no key), the lid exterior with central blank circular brass escutcheon and initialled 'J.F.R.'
