circa 1856, with blued octagonal 6in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, the top-strap signed 'DEANE ADAMS & DEANE 30 KING WILLIAM ST. LONDON BRIDGE' extending onto and along the top-flat of barrel, solid blued borderline engraved frame also marked 'B.871' above 'ADAMS PATENT' and the serial number, chequered swept semi saw-handled grip with moulded iron butt-cap, guarded trigger, spurred hammer and hinged rammer folding alongside the frame on the left side, strong traces of finish
