JEFFERY & CO., 60 QUEEN VICTORIA STREET LONDON', numbered 658 and with number 14280 marked on the nocksform, with crossed pennants mark, receiver numbered 658, marked 'STEYR 1893' and with further crossed pennants mark, cocking-piece with folding aperture sight, fitted with a Jeffery patent side-mounted vertical post graticule telescopic sight, patent no. 1995 of 31st January 1900, engraved 'PATENTED BY W.J. JEFFERY & CO. 1900', 14 1/4in. stock including 1 1/4in. wood extension, blued magazine-box / triggerguard, sling eyes, weight 8lb. 13oz.(scoped) and 7lb. 13oz. (unscoped), in its original leather-bound canvas full length case with two en-bloc clips
