A BOXED PRE-WAR .177 EM-GE ZENIT LEVER-COCKING AIR-PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1939, with 5in. hinged barrel and cocking lever, the latter stamped 'GERMANY' and with the word 'PATENT' within a depiction of a liner, plain air-chamber, the top marked variously 'ZENIT' and 'EM-GE ZELLA-MEHLIS (THUR)', chequered walnut one-piece butt inlet with medallions marked 'EMGE' in raised letters, much finish to the metalwork and together with its manufacturer's black card carton, the lid with the maker, model and a pictorial depiction of the air-pistol (some later well executed reinforcing)
