A CASED .442 WEBLEY No.2 'THE BRITISH BULLDOG' POCKET REVOLVER RETAILED BY LEMON, ENNISKILLEN, serial no. 53124,
circa 1892, with blued ovoid 2 3/8in. barrel, the flat sighting plane with applied nickel fore-sight and signed 'JOHN LEMON', the right side of barrel 'ENNISKILLEN', the top-strap with central sighting groove bisecting the legend 'THE BRITISH BULL DOG', plain five-shot cylinder, solid frame with make, calibre and model on the left side, double-action mechanism and chequered walnut birdshead grips, strong amount of finish and in a period oak storage case, partially relined in blue baize and with a W. Richards, Liverpool trade label, together with a period turn-screw, oil-bottle and cleaning rod
