circa 1855, with swamped octagonal 8 1/2in. micro-rifled barrel, the top-flat signed in gilt 'DELEBOURSE BTE. A PARIS' and numbered '1' for a pair, dove-tailed fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, engraved top-tang also numbered '1', moulded nipple-boss engraved with lightning bolts and fenced in the flint style, border and trophy engraved bar-action lock signed in a gilt-bordered oval 'DELEBOURSE A PARIS', engraved and moulded hammer, walnut half-stock with chequered full pistol-grip, carved border around the flared pommel, engraved domed iron butt-cap, spurred trigger guard, single set trigger and moulded fore-end tip with no provision for ramrod
