A CASED .500 (3in. EX.) DOUBLE-BARRELLED UNDER-LEVER HAMMER EXPRESS RIFLE, serial no. 18466,
circa 1900, with reblued and reproved (for cordite) 28in. barrels, machine engraved top-rib with panel signed 'R.B. RODDA & CO CALCUTTA', dovetailed fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with two additional flush-folding leaves, dolls-head extension, reblued plain borderline engraved rounded action with 'Jones' type swing under-lever, rebounding borderline engraved back-action reblued locks signed 'R.B. RODDA & CO.', walnut butt-stock with chequered full pistol-grip with domed iron cap, English style solid rubber heel-pad, chequered walnut splinter fore-end with swing release-catch and fitted with eyelets for sling, in a leather cornered green canvas Rodda case with added accessories including a later mould block, two oil bottles, a pin-key and turn-screw
