circa 1845, with rebrowned damascus 31in. barrels (some external pits and dents), traces of signature to top-rib, engraved rib-end and platinum plugs at breech, borderline and scroll engraved top-tang, borderline and scroll engraved bar-action locks signed 'W.R. PAPE' within scrolled borders, chequered walnut half-stock, iron furniture including raised spur to lower tang, ebony ramrod and together with a period walnut case relined and compartmented in green baize, facsimile trade-label and including a flask and caps
