for 1902, 28in. replacement nitro barrels (in 1972), rib engraved 'CHUBBS. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, arcaded fences, removable striker discs, action face marked with 'THE AUTOMATIC' trademark, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, fine border and acanthus scroll engraving with the makers name in elaborate cartouches on the lockplates, brushed finish, 15in. figured stock (setting cracks to rear of lockplates) including 1 1/8in. wooden extension, weight 6lb. 13oz.
